NTA CLAIMS RE-NEET EXAM HELD SUCCESFULLY

     Recently, the NEET UG 2026 re-exam was conducted all over India. Before the exam, many videos and posts were spreading on social media claiming that the paper was leaked. However, the NTA said those videos were fake and asked students and parents not to believe such rumours without checking official sources.

      More than 20 lakh students appeared for the examination. The exam was conducted in thousands of centres across the country and even in some centres outside India. According to the NTA, a large number of officials, police staff and exam workers were involved in making the exam happen smoothly. They said around 7 lakh people worked for the successful conduct of the examination.

     The authorities also made special arrangements for students with disabilities and for some students who had serious medical conditions. This helped them attend the exam without missing an important opportunity.Many security measures were used during the examination. Biometric verification, face scanning, CCTV cameras and checking at the exam centres were done to prevent cheating. Officials also said that at a few places some people tried to enter with wrong admit cards or mobile phones, but they were caught and action was taken.

      In my opinion, exams like NEET are very important because students spend years preparing for them. Because of that, there should be complete transparency and fairness in the examination process. At the same time, people should avoid spreading unconfirmed information on social media. If there are any genuine issues, they should be properly investigated, but students should not be confused by rumours. The main focus should always be on giving every student a fair chance.
